Ms. Visconti joined Digital Journal on May 10, 2011 as the Alberta Environmental Writer and currently continues in this role today. In-depth interviewing, research and writing are done to deliver provincial and national environmental stories for Alberta and Canada.
A wide variety of environmental issues and stories are explored and investigated in an effort to make the public aware of current environmental news that may not be covered from a citizen journalist’s perspective by mainstream media. Discussion is encouraged in the comment section in an effort to communicate proactive solutions. Also, Ms. Visconti contributes Photo Essays to the travel section since she is a nature photographer and will continue to explore this craft.
